Apply for SaaP certification

Free, open to any software that works on people’s behalf, and judged only against the published SaaP Test. Every certified product gets a public record of its evidence, so the badge means something.

Apply with evidence
Fill in the form below, about fifteen minutes. For each question, describe what the product does and how we can see it.
We review it
The committee reads your evidence and looks at the product working, by demo, video or test access. We reply by email, and may ask questions.
Get your record
If all five answers hold up, your product gets a public record and the badge. If not yet, we tell you which question fell short. Reapply any time.

Good to know

It’s free. No fee to apply or to be certified.
Level 3 or above. A product has to be a Partner (Level 3) or Trusted partner (Level 4). Copilots and one-off task agents don’t qualify yet, and that’s fine.
It lasts 12 months. Then you renew against the current version of the definition.
It’s public. If certified, the product name, your evidence and the dates appear on the record. Nothing from the contact section is published.
Connections are disclosed. If the committee has a connection to your company, the record says so.

2 Evidence for the SaaP Test

All five must be yes. Be concrete: what the product does, and how we could see it.

1. Does it remember?What does it carry from one session or channel to the next? How does a user see that it remembered?2. Does it act without being opened?What happens between visits? What does it bring the user without being asked?3. Does it own an outcome?What job does it take responsibility for finishing, and how does it report the result?4. Are you still in charge?How does the user approve, redirect or stop its work? Where can they see what it did and why?5. Does it add capacity, not work?What work does the user no longer do themselves?
